Sky is Pink

It is a marvel to gaze at southern sky in Texas any time of the year. It is vast, unpredictably beautiful with infinite variations. My humble attempt to place one such day on canvas, when sky was pink.

It is a mixed media artwork painted using mainly acrylic paints and acrylic medium mixed with some silicone to provide varying textures. I used crushed mirror and gold leaf as embellishments. 

It is painted on a 24x36 inch gallery wrapped canvas with hanging hardware on the back. It is 1.5 inches deep
