Devi - The divine feminine

This is my second painting in reverence to divine forms that has been guiding me in my journey. Devi represents the divine feminine which is creativity, compassion, inner wisdom, it is ever nurturing energy that is required to balance all the out-worldly doing.

Traditionally Goddess Durga, Kali and others are worshipped just like male forms of deities to create balance in doing and being, outside and inside. Sit with the devi inside you for introspection and bring courage, wisdom and creativity in life.

This is a mixed-media painting created using fluid art techniques with acrylic paints, acrylic and alcohol ink markers, done on a 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas.
