Ganesha

Ganesha is worshipped across India and neighboring countries to bless new beginnings, new house, relationship, work etc. 

As the story goes, Ganesha's head was severed and replaced with elephant head to teach humility and honor new beginnings by Lord Shiva.  

Since I started artwork diligently this year (2026) with a fresh mindset, I wanted to do a piece on Ganesha. I used fluid art pearl technique to create a colorful abstract background and then drew the form of Ganesha over.

This is a 12x16 canvas painted using acrylic paints.
