Monarchs-1
The wildlife series is inspired by my son's love for wild life. Occasionally he educates me about certain animal species and these conversations create opportunities for change.
When the sky is dark and hope is low, it is the inner strength and glow that takes you the extra mile. Monarch butterflies, not only migrate in thousands to the warmer climate just like birds, they are capable of defending themselves from the big bad world by using poison. Isn't that amazing! Also they need conservation and preservation just like many other wild species.
This is painted on 8x8 wooden board with acrylic paint and framed in a shadow frame with glass. One of my favorites. I don't use brush to paint, just move the paint around to get desired results.
